Throne of Glory Anointing Oil
Throughout Scripture, the throne of God is revealed as a place of perfect holiness, majesty, power, and worship. The prophet Ezekiel witnessed the glory of the Lord filling the temple and wrote, "I looked and saw the glory of the Lord filling the temple of the Lord, and I fell facedown." (Ezekiel 44:4). Centuries later, the apostle John was given a glimpse into heaven, where he saw the throne of God surrounded by brilliant splendor, flashes of lightning, peals of thunder, and a rainbow shining like an emerald. Around His throne, the hosts of heaven continually worship, declaring, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come." (Revelation 4:2–8).
The Throne of Glory reminds us that our God is holy, sovereign, and worthy of all praise. Though He reigns in majesty from heaven, He also invites us into His presence through Jesus Christ. As we worship Him, we are drawn into the beauty of His holiness and transformed by His glory. Every glimpse of God's glory throughout Scripture led to reverence and worship, reminding us that He alone is worthy of all honor, power, and praise.
